Pregnant women are not suitable candidates for LASIK treatment due to hormonal fluctuations and physical changes that occur during pregnancy.

Before your preoperative examination, please adhere to the following guidelines: Remove soft contact lenses at least 3 days before your appointment, and hard contact lenses at least 7 days before your appointment.

After eye dilation, you may experience temporary blurred vision and light sensitivity, making driving unsafe. Please arrange for transportation or have someone drive you home from your appointment.

Bringing sunglasses is recommended to reduce light sensitivity after dilation.

It is important to avoid applying makeup, especially close to your eyes.

It is crucial to AVOID sprays and perfumes, as they can interfere with the laser equipment during your procedure.

We recommend a shirt with front buttons if that's convenient for you. Please also bathe and tidy your hair thoroughly before your appointment.

YAG Laser Treatment is used to create a small opening on the side of the iris to prepare the eye and prevent an increase in intraocular pressure after lens implantation. Patients should undergo YAG laser treatment approximately 2 weeks prior to the procedure.

Vision correction with ICL, will involve the following treatment steps:

The staff will apply dilating eye drops and anesthetic drops.
The doctor will create a small incision of approximately 3 millimeters at the edge of the cornea to serve as an entry point for the lens implantation, which does not require stitches and will heal quickly. The implanted lens will gradually unfold and remain in the eye, invisible to the naked eye.
The doctor will prescribe medication to reduce intraocular pressure and schedule a follow-up appointment the next day to monitor the treatment progress.

The lens augmentation procedure takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Afterward, the patient can return home to rest. Typically, the doctor will treat one eye at a time, allowing the first eye to fully heal before proceeding with the other eye. This process is usually spaced about one week apart, depending on the conditions.

Use the prescribed eye drops and medications exactly as instructed by your doctor.
After the treatment, an eye shield will be applied. The shield will be removed by specialists during your follow-up appointment the next day.
Always wear sunglasses when going outdoors.
If you experience any unusual symptoms such as severe eye irritation or abnormal blurred vision, please contact the hospital immediately.
Take special care to avoid any trauma to the eye. Extra caution is needed if you have children or pets at home.
You can resume your normal daily activities.
Avoid rubbing or scratching your eyes for one month.
Avoid swimming for one month.
Avoid carrying very heavy objects for one month.
Be cautious to prevent dust or smoke from entering your eyes for about one month.
Avoid sudden bending or rapid body movements (such as while putting on shoes or picking up objects) for about one month.
For the first two weeks after surgery, it is necessary to sleep with your body in a relaxed, face-up position.
Wear the protective eye shield every night during sleep for the first two weeks.
Until two weeks after the procedure, prevent water from entering your eyes. When cleaning your face, gently wipe with a clean soft cloth.
If you wish to wash your hair, visit a hair salon for assistance.

Follow-Up Appointments After ICL Surgery

For the best monitoring of your eye's healing, we usually schedule follow-up appointments at these intervals: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months, and then at the one-year mark. After the first year, we recommend an annual check-up.
