PresbyLASIK Treatment Process

Concept of PresbyLASIK: This is a "bladeless" LASIK procedure specifically designed for patients with presbyopia (age-related farsightedness). The ophthalmologist uses a Femtosecond Laser to gently create a corneal flap. An Excimer laser is then applied to reshape the cornea, allowing the eyes to focus clearly at multiple distances, before safely folding the flap back into place.

Procedure Steps

Step 1: A high-precision Femtosecond Laser is used to safely create and open the corneal flap (a completely bladeless process).

Step 2: An Excimer Laser is used to reshape the curvature of the cornea. This corrects the vision, allowing the eye to focus seamlessly across all distances: near, intermediate, and far.

Step 3: The corneal flap is gently placed back into its original position, where it naturally and rapidly heals on its own without the need for stitches.
