Living in Thailand? Protect Your Retina Before Symptoms Appear

Exclusively for Thai nationals and Expats living in Thailand

As part of the World Retina 2026 campaign, Bangkok Eye Hospital encourages you to take a closer look at your retinal health. Conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration may develop without noticeable symptoms in their early stages.

You may still see clearly while changes are already developing inside the retina. Screening is especially important if you have diabetes, severe myopia, increasing age, or a family history of retinal disease.

Receive a comprehensive 9-test retina screening package for ฿2,990, reduced from the regular price of ฿6,500.

Detailed Retina Screening with Specialist Diagnostic Technology

The package includes nine detailed eye examinations, covering your vision, eye structure, and retinal health. Two key retinal diagnostic tests are:

✓ Fundus Photography: Captures detailed images of the retina, optic nerve, and blood vessels at the back of the eye to help identify possible abnormalities.
✓ OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography): Produces cross-sectional images of the retina and macula, allowing the doctor to examine retinal layers in greater detail than may be possible during a routine eye examination.

Your results will be assessed by a Retina Specialist, who will explain any findings, discuss possible risk factors, and recommend appropriate monitoring or further care when medically indicated.
