Asst. Prof. Nawat Wattanachai, M.D. is a distinguished Ophthalmology Expert specializing in Retina and Vitreous diseases as well as cataract surgery. He possesses extensive clinical experience in managing complex ocular complications, including diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and vitreous disorders.
Dr. Nawat earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at Chiang Mai University. He then advanced his expertise through a Vitreoretinal Fellowship at Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, followed by an international fellowship at the University of Western Australia. Beyond his clinical practice, he has served as an esteemed medical lecturer. His dedication to eye care was internationally recognized when he received the Outstanding Service in Prevention of Blindness Award at the APAO 2021 conference, reflecting his lifelong commitment to preserving and restoring sight.
